Situated at the heart of Drayton, the Bob Carter Leisure Centre provides a wide range of facilities for sports and socialising

If you, a family member or friend has a birthday or any other special event to celebrate we are here to help. Our main function room has a capacity of 100 persons and has its own bar to keep your guests refreshed throughout the evening.

Come and enjoy a refreshing drink and home cooked food in our air conditioned bar and restaurant. Our menu includes family favourites like Breaded Scampi, Baguettes, Jacket Potatoes, Chips or Wedges and Toasted Sandwiches.

Our facilities

Our venue has a great choice of facilities that ensure fun for all the family with our pay and play sports ranging from badminton to 5-a-side football. Our bar serves a fine selection of beers and home cooked food is prepared daily.

    Food is served daily in our restaurant with both lunchtime meals and evening meals available.

  • Bar

    A wide selection of alcoholic drinks and soft drinks are available at our newly refurbished bar.

  • Function Room

    We welcome birthday parties, anniversary celebrations and much more! Our main function room has a capacity of 100 people and its own bar to keep your guests refreshed.

  • Sports Hall

    Our multi-purpose sports hall is available for booking throughout the calendar year.

  • Wifi

    Wifi is available in the bar and restaurant as well as other parts of the centre.

  • Parking Available

    Customer parking is available at the rear of the centre, accessible from School Road.

  • Live Sport

    We show a great selection of live sport, with rugby, football, cricket and more playing in the bar. We have access to both BT Sport.

  • Air-Conditioning

    Air-conditioning is available in the bar and restaurant

Calling All Beer Lovers

Recipient of a CAMRA Award 2023

We offer a great choice of real Ales. We also serve 2 house beers, 4 guest ales and 6 changing beers, Greene King and Old Speckled Hen are regulars, plus local beers from Moon Gazer, Woodforde’s, Lacons and St Peter’s.

Typically, our opening times are Monday to Saturday 10 am to 10 pm and Sunday 10 am to 6 pm. Times are, however, subject to change, at the discretion of the management.

Good venue for badminton (4 courts) and very reasonably priced. There are 2 squash courts too. There is a room which can be hired - with a bar, and a separate pub/bar.
